Thought I'd give you a little insight into how the boots are made.
Safari, as it is called in Spain, is a very artisanal way of manufacturing so they can’t make all the desert boots identical. They are not made in a production line and they are not manufactured all at the same time, hence the colours vary. It is a very simple, back to basics way of creating a hand made product and something that is not mass produced.
When they get a new batch of leather the dying could be different or the leather absorbs the dye differently and therefore some colours end up being brighter or darker.
The desert boots are all lovingly made by hand by artisans who have been doing it for many years. This is why I love the boots. Hope you can understand then that sometimes what you the customer receives is not always the same colour as on the website.
